Tet was coming and as every year, the Board of Directors of Asia Green Tours always paid close attention to charity programs. With the motto: "Tet is sharing, warm spring is coming", Asia Green Tours always wished to provide people having difficulties throughout the country a better life.
On this occasion, Asia Green Tours cooperated with the People's Committee of Thanh Mien District, Hai Duong Province to organize the program "Gifts for Tet Holiday to members of the Blind Association of Thanh Mien District".
Asia Green Tours presented a gift of VND 20,000,000 to the Blind Association in Thanh Mien District. This is a meaningful activity with the spirit of “All for one, and one for all" to encourage those who have unfortunate circumstances and help them overcome difficulties.
To date, the Blind Association of Thanh Mien district has 283 members at all ages. Among them, there are 168 women, 15 children and 20 of them are wounded veterans. Most of the families are very poor and struggle hard to get by.
Though what Asia Green Tours had to offer was very small in comparison to the difficulties these people had to face, Asia Green Tours sincerely hoped that our effort would support the members to reduce the inferiority complex and build up self-esteem for them to celebrate a happy Lunar New Year with the community and society.
